Wednesday: Midweek Motivation
Right now we’re in the middle of “Spring Rush” at the marina — what’s Spring Rush? OMG… it’s the time between ice out and Memorial Day Weekend.
It’s this crazy time frame when people pick up their boats from the long long winter.
This winter was especially long in Minnesota. After all, we broke the all time snowiest February on record…. so everyone just wants to get outside.
Well… there are still things that have to be done to prep a boat, there are things that have to be done to prep a marina… and there are only so many hours a day. Therefore, when it hits 75 degrees people call and think that they can pick up their boat “today”. I mean it’s only one boat.
They need to be gently reminded that we process 10 boats a day and there are 80 on the list before them. Alrightie, that aside.
I thought today would be a great day to feature the advice of “keep going” so I looked up this phrase on Twitter and I was all set to use the Lyrics from Rodney Atkins… “If you’re going through hell, keep on going…”
Then I realized this is episode 666! HAHAHAHAHA
That really made me laugh! I got no words of inspiration. Just KEEP GOING.
So this midweek motivation is all about the big belly laugh.
So…. Laugh at yourself and just enjoy life.
