Do you want to make more money?
Of course.
So you ask yourself the question, “How do I make more money?”
Great question, but is it the right question?
hummmmmmm….. what do I mean?
If you want more money you can do two things, you can increase sales and you can decrease costs. These are two very different things. But both will make more money.
If you ask the question, “how do I increase sales?” you’ll get answers like, increase advertising, develop a promotion, call customers, offer a new product or service.
If you ask the question, “how do I reduce costs?” you’ll get answers like, find new suppliers, pay bills on time to avoid finance charges, use blank side of bad photo copies, collect aluminum cans for recycling.
All of the above will get you more money, it’s just that each answer has a very different journey.
When you stop and think about the result you want, you’ll ask better questions to get you there.
Today, pause before you ask any question to make sure you are getting an answer to get you closer to your goals!
